The Hot Pink Digital Camera: More Advanced than Ever Before

When digital cameras first came onto the market they were big, bulky and expensive. Although these somewhat strange looking cameras were conceptually cool, they lacked the sleek looks and performance of today’s digitals. Fast forward a few years and you now have all sorts of cameras with different features, prices and even different colors. While it may seem that colored cameras have always been around, it wasn’t until recently that digital cameras became available in nearly every color of the rainbow. In fact, one of the most popular colored cameras is the hot pink digital camera. People love them because it allows them to express their inner creativity and besides, they’re just fun to use.

Although the earliest digital cameras in pink were somewhat less advanced in terms of features, as were most cameras during that time, it’s now possible to purchase a pink camera that is every bit as capable as most other point-and-shoot cameras on the market. The following are just some of the cool (and useful) features that are included in some of the best pink digitals on the market:

1.    Facial Recognition – this feature does exactly what it says; the camera is programmed to recognize human faces in order to focus on them before the shot. Essentially, this reduces the chance that the shot will be out of focus.

2.    Image Stabilization – this feature is rather complicated to explain, though it essentially compensates for motion blur during low light or long focal length shots, when the camera cannot let in enough light to properly focus on the image. It’s important to note that this feature will not prevent blur due to motion, which must be compensated for by using a faster shutter speed setting.

3.    Wireless Capabilities – this is a relatively recent feature that allows the user to offload image files off of their camera using wireless technology. Transferring images wirelessly means that you no longer need to worry about messing with cables to get your photos onto your computer.

4.    HD Video – there are a few pink cameras out there that offer the ability to record video in high definition (HD), which offers a sharper, more defined capture.

As you can see, there are many features available that make digital cameras more fun than ever to operate, and with prices continuing to plummet, there’s no longer an excuse to sit on the sidelines or to rely on that old bulky film camera.
