With new mobile sets being flooded into the market every day, Nokia too has decided to introduce a new product which is set to feature in their successful C-Series. They have decided to release what they call the Nokia C5-03. It is intending to dominate both local and global markets by sporting a highly competitive price of 170 Euro in contrast to the several features that it offers.
It has a highly sensitive 3.2 inch touch screen display with contains, like all other recently developed Nokia phones, the ability to make available the contacts which are used frequently by people or those which are important so as to have them only a couple of touches away from being called, SMSed or emailed.
The general features include a 5 Mega-pixel Camera. Even though it lacks flash, it does have a 4x Digital zoom. The inbuilt basic memory on the phone to go with this is only 40MB, but it opens up space to the user with a MicroSD slot accepting up to 16GB of memory.
The estimated talk-time is a tremendous 11.5 hours on GSM and a reasonable 4.5 hours on 3G service. The standby time is estimated as a great 24-25 days. The other connectivity features on the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and for business users, Mail for Exchange. The Ovi store also has Ovi Mail and Ovi Maps for the navigation and tracking with its Compass and GPS systems.
The Operating System is the Symbian^1, also known as the S60 5th Edition and does an extremely good job of managing the phone’s resources and maintaining highest possible efficiency. All of these combined, the mobile phones looks to impress all consumers with its value for money and quality of service which has been consistent with Nokia over several years of its production of sets in the market.
